We celebrated my husband's birthday this past weekend on Friday, September 28. But I am sure, like most of you, we celebrated all weekend. I took Friday off to spend the day with him. Our day started out with breakfast at iHop, one of his favorites. He LOVES the pumpkin pancakes. We then made a stop at his favorite store, Best Buy and stopped by Home Depot. Then saw the movie, Trouble With the Curve with Clint Eastwood (GREAT MOVIE!). On the way home, we stopped at STARBUCK's. Can't go out and not get coffee!! He chose Lexington BBQ for dinner later that afternoon. We had a great day together. Saturday we had dinner at Yarborough's Steak Restaurant with a great meal and company with the family. On Sunday's our whole family eats at my parents house and mom let John pick the menu and what a spread it was.... chicken pie, rice, lima beans, sweet potatoes with marshmellows, salad, fruit, biscuits and red velvet cake.
I'm sharing two of John's birthday cards. I made the Owl Happy Birthday card and my sister-in-law made the VEGAS card.
Aprile is in my club and new to making cards and stamping and she did a GREAT job on John's card. He LOVES the poker chip :) He is ready to go back to VEGAS now!!!
